Location: Surma Plant, Chhatak, Sunamganj

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
  • Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
  • Diploma in Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • B.E/Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/Process/Civil) from a reputed institution

Experience Requirements

  • At least 20 years of experience in Kiln and Coal Mill operations
  • Experience in Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry) or Cement Industry
  • Working experience in an Integrated Cement Plant
  • Multinational company experience is an added advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of the clinkerization process is a must
  • Cross-functional understanding of operations, including quality control parameters and coal mill safety

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance (field patrolling) and operational support for Cement Kiln and Coal Mill (Vertical Mill) in an integrated cement plant
  • Maintain all types of maintenance of kiln with coal grinding mill or Petcoke grinding mill
  • Train and guide maintenance shifts, general crews, and production personnel as a field specialist
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process failures during shift operations; assist shift managers in resolving issues, particularly coal/Petcoke handling, storage, feeding, and firing systems
  • Drive and support de-bottlenecking initiatives to enhance production output and overall plant efficiency
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for plant stoppages and ensure corrective measures are implemented effectively
  • Establish, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the CRO team to strengthen operational capability and reliability
  • Conduct gap analysis for CCR operators, prepare training plans, and evaluate progress
  • Collaborate with quality control for process optimization
